We are so happy to write to you on this beautiful season of Easter, a time of joy and hope for- He is Risen!  Easter announces to us the news that evil has ultimately been overcome by good. The power of resurrection fills the earth and we see the signs of His presence in the nature and in the goodness that we experience in creation and in his people who share His love with us. You are God’s Instruments for us and for all our children here. Miles and miles far away, yet you share a love that is true and sincere. May God continue to Bless you and all your dear ones.This year in the boarding we have 316 girls, from class 1st  to 12th. Each one of them is getting an opportunity to go ahead in life supported by your help and concern. Many girls of their age in their own villages are not able to go ahead in life due to poverty and other socio-economic problems. Most of the girls are first generation learners and it is difficult for them to pursue their studies as they don’t find a congenial atmosphere at home.The boarding provides for them an atmosphere where the growth and development is fostered through academics and other extra curricular activities.  The residential school gives them the required academic formation and motivation to go ahead in life. The last batch of the 10th  and 12th class students excelled with cent percent results. Many of our girls have continued college studies in the cities. During holidays and other specific occasions they keep in touch with personal visits or through  phone.  There are six wardens taking care of the girls and a sister who gives personal attention to all their needs. This year they were all taken for a picnic to the seashore and for a boat ride to a close by picnic spot. Each one from the youngest to the eldest enjoyed the picnic. In March, the 10th & 12th class students begin their annual State exams and we request you to keep them in your valuable prayers.Along with the boarding we have the empowerment of their own mothers through the women’s groups called the self-help groups where they save money and help each other through their own savings. These groups encourage economic growth and also bring in development and social empowerment. Through monthly meetings they are taught to go ahead in life and be leaders in their own family and in their society. These meetings become a forum for them to bring out issues that affect them and sort it out in a larger group. Two sisters along  with  a social worker see to this work.
In the area of health the village health workers play an important role in imparting health care to the villagers. The village health workers are trained every month and they are our extended hands in the villages imparting health care through awareness, visits, referral services  and  medical aid. The mobile clinic and the dispensary every week provides medical aid to countless tribals who come to us for various health needs. One sister together with two nurses cater to this health needs of our area.Without your support we would not have been able to reach out to the poorest and the neediest of this area. Million thanks for the love you share and the solidarity you show with the poorest. May God bless you abundantly. Hope means to keep living amid desperation and to keep humming in the darkness. Hoping is knowing that there is love, it is trust in tomorrow, it is falling asleep and waking again when the sun rises. In the midst of a gale at sea, it is to discover land. In the eyes of another it is to see that you are understood……… as long as there is still hope, there will also be prayer……….. And you will be held in God’s Hands. La potenza della risurrezione riempie la terra e vediamo i segni della sua presenza nella natura e nella bontà che abbiamo esperienza nella creazione e nel suo popolo che condividere il suo amore con noi. Sei Atti di Dio per noi e per tutti i nostri bambini qui. Miglia e miglia lontani, ancora di condividere un amore che è vero e sincero. Possa Dio continuare a benedire voi e tutti i vostri cari.

Due sorelle insieme a un operatore sociale v., in questo lavoro.
Nel settore della salute villaggio della salute dei lavoratori svolgono un ruolo importante nel diffondere l'assistenza sanitaria per gli abitanti del villaggio. Il villaggio della salute dei lavoratori sono addestrati ogni mese e sono il nostro esteso mani nei villaggi impartire l'assistenza sanitaria attraverso la sensibilizzazione, visite, servizi di riferimento e medica.   Senza il vostro sostegno non saremmo stati in grado di raggiungere i più poveri e più bisognosi di questo settore. Milioni di grazie per l'amore che condividi e la solidarietà si mostra con i più poveri. Che Dio vi benedica abbondantemente.
Significa speranza di vivere in mezzo alla disperazione e mantenere affollata nelle tenebre. Speranza è sapere che non vi è amore, è la fiducia nel domani, è addormentarsi e svegliarsi di nuovo quando il sole sorge. Nel bel mezzo di una burrasca in mare, è di scoprire terra. Agli occhi di un altro è vedere che lei è capito……… finché c'è ancora speranza, vi sarà anche la preghiera……… .. E lei avrà luogo nelle mani di Dio. Ancora una volta si desiderano un felice Pasqua.
